Dougie · Your local handyman
Local, honest,
and properly trained.
I'm Dougie — I've been working as a handyman in and around Shepton Mallet for nearly 40 years. I do the work myself, I turn up on time, and I stand behind every job.
When you call me, you get me — not a call centre, not a subcontractor. I quote fairly, I communicate clearly, and I don't leave until the job is done right.
Let the jobs do the talking.

Had Dougie sort out my kitchen tiles after another tradesman left a right mess. He came when he said he would, kept things tidy, and the finish is spot on. Use him again without hesitation.
New fence and gate, fair price and no fuss. Exactly what you want from a local handyman.
Dougie fitted our new bathroom — patient when we changed our minds halfway through and the end result is brilliant. Couldn't recommend him more.
Turned up on time (rare these days), sorted the dripping tap and knocked out a couple of other jobs while he was here. Honest and no messing about.
